The Next Level Of Achievement
Excel Qualifies 25 Wrestlers for Cadet/Junior Nationals 06/01/2011

Excel is having a break-through year with 25 Junior Olympic Program athletes heading to the Cadet/Junior Freestyle & Greco Nationals in Fargo, ND later this July. “Fargo”  has been named the toughest high school tournament in the country, with thousands of the best wrestlers in the country competing.  To qualify for Fargo, our wrestlers had to place top three in their Freestyle/Greco State Tournament, or top three in a USA Wrestling sanctioned Regional.


Out of the 25 qualified: 15 of the wrestlers came from Iowa, 5 from Colorado and 5 from Wyoming.


Iowa:

Cadets - Trevor Murano, Mason Miller, Jonah Eide, Dan Kelly, Austin Anderson

Juniors - Mason Miller, Bryan Walsh, Colby Knight, Derek Miller, Jackson Agey, Jason Clark,

               Alex Meyer, Carson Powell, Aaron McMurphy, Jordan Rouse



Colorado:

Juniors - Ian Wingstrom, Connor Medbery, Tanner Harms, Nick Stager, Joel Hernandez


Wyoming:

Cadets - Robert Shirley, Collin Cundy

Juniors - Allen Keith, Lukas Poloncic, Trevor Goss
