Excel's USAW Junior Olympic Program Wrestlers Qualify For State in IA and CO

Excel Wrestling's USAW Junior Olympic Program wrestlers are looking for big things at their 2010 high school state tournaments! Excel has training sites in both Iowa and Colorado and this past weekend, 45 wrestlers in all qualified for their State Championships, 26 in Colorado and 19 in Iowa. Tournaments begin on Wednesday, February 17th in Iowa and Thursday, February 18th in Colorado. See below for a complete listing of wrestlers and weight classes.

The Excel Program is geared toward wrestlers with a high commitment level, looking to go on and wrestle on the college level. In both states, wrestlers from 12 - 18 years train with the Excel coaching staff. Steve Knight coaches the program in Iowa with Jesse Jantzen running the program in Colorado this past season.
