Evan Knight is the oldest son of Excel Director and Coach Steve Knight. He grew up in the Excel Wrestling program both in Colorado and in Iowa. He is currently a US Olympic Training Center resident in Colorado Springs and will be running the North Denver Excel Junior Olympic Program. Evan has signed a national letter of intent with Cornell University and plans to compete for the Big Red at 174lbs next season. He is a 4 x High School All American, 3 x Iowa High School finalist, 2 x Iowa HS State Champion. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the program.

Mike McArthur is a long time Team Excel Coach. He has worked with Coach Knight for more than 15 years. Coach Mac will be running the South Denver Excel Program this year. He has contributed to Colorado wrestling in many ways and is an outstanding clinician. He has served on the US Olympic Coaching staff, coached the US Pan American team and is a former assistant coach at Oklahoma State University. We look forward to having Mac with us this year at our South Denver Excel Junior Olympic Program.
